Parkview Surgery

Parkview Surgery Mission Statement

Parkview Surgery is fully committed to providing patient-centred, high quality, holistic care in a safe and pleasant environment.

Changes to the way we are working

The surgery has changed the way it is working in line with Government guidelines and has been actively reducing the footfall upon the surgery to reduce the risk of patients and our staff contracting the virus. To ensure that we continue in this manner and comply with guidance, we will actively encourage patients to;

1. Use Patchs to Send us a message, Photo's, Request a sick note, request a prescription or any queries, however' please avoid ringing during 8am - 10am and 1:00pm and 2:00pm.

3. Nominate your pharmacy, this will allow your prescription to be electronically dispatched. It will also prevent you calling into the surgery to collect them.

4. If you have an urgent query then please call the surgery, alternatively you can submit this request via Patchs. (please allow up to 48hrs for a response, however, there will be periods where we are able to respond quicker). If you need an appointment, the surgery staff will triage your query over the phone, this is to ensure that you are directed to the correct GP, Nurse Practitioner or Clinical staff member.

Kirklees Community Response Team

There is a new helpline being offered by North Kirklees Council, which is part of the Coivd-19 community response.

The council are working alongside other organisations and citizens to offer support to our neighbours and communities over the coming months. They will be working closely with the volunteer organisations in partnership with volunteering Kirklees.

By pulling the support agencies together they have co-ordinated a response team, which includes the council helpline and forms. This allows for matches to be made to the appropriate support services.
