Antenatal clinic
First visit is a 20 minute appointment with the midwife who will arrange subsequent appointments.
The midwife and the doctors monitor your progress throughout your pregnancy. Please make your appointment at reception.
Childhood immunisations
The Health Visitor is available for routine vaccinations by appointment only in the main health centre. An appointment will be sent through the post from child health services. The child health department can be contacted on 0303 003 4381
The Health Visitor can be contacted for advice about feeding, sleeping, behaviour and general health on 030 3330 9820
Family planning
Book an appointment in normal surgery hours with one of our nursing staff. A complete and confidential service is available to all.
Cervical cytology
A cervical smear test every 3 years is recommended for women aged 25 to 50 and every 5 years for women aged 50+. You will be contacted by letter advising you to make an appointment.

Phlebotomy services
This service is provided by a healthcare assistant and phlebotomist.
Practice Nurse Clinics
Book an appointment with reception for management of long term conditions. these may include:
Asthma, Diabetes, Heart Disease, COPD, Hypertension, Hypothyroidism and many others
The practice nurse can be seen for regular reviews for those suffering from these conditions.
Flu vaccinations
These are available every September/October for the over 65s, those with heart or chest problems, diabetes and patients with other long term illnesses and are given on open days. Please contact the surgery during August/September for these dates.
Travel immunisations -
We offer a comprehensive vaccination programme and advice on general travel health care.
Please complete a travel form available at reception or online and enquire a few days later to see if an appointment with the practice nurse is needed. Please give as much notice as is possible to ensure there is time to complete your vaccination programme - preferably a minimum of 8 -12 weeks prior to travel.
